I've been running them in with the 1977 Lemans Black edition and the spirit of 76 mod to fill my multi-class love for the time being... when I try to run with the DRM cars i end up with some scrambled up models racing around the track...
and I got into a fight trying to setup the mustang... I can't get a symetrical setup on the front end, nor can i get the car slightly loose without it deciding to outright donut on me, any advice?
and if your looking to be a little more period correct, the datsun 280ZX would be a better fit than the 240Z.. but I'm not sure if a model for the ZX exists out there or not... just my $.02
either way... I cannot wait to get behind the wheel of the Z

I would jump on a 280ZX if I could find a worthy one. Hopefully, someday. I use the So76 mod too with the Div. II cars sometimes. I like their Fiat X1/9.
I am not very savvy on physics so I can't help you with the Mustang. That is, other than to replace its physics with something else that you like better.
It's weird that you have problems with the DRM cars. I use the "all cars" mode and they work well for me. I had to change all of their .gen files but they work fine. I can share those modified .gen files with you if you want them. Actually, I have two versions that I changed. One is the stock .gen files changed to work in all cars mode. The other is one I heavily modified to use a lot less memory. I still use XP and I like to race with 50 cars so I hacked on their .gen files heavily and they use quite a bit less memory now. The issue was they have lots of redundant mesh files that just waste memory and I removed a lot of those. Anyway, I will share those with anyone who wants to try them.

I run in the all cars mode aswell... I got the DRM cars to work there simply by copy/pasting the car folders to the main vehicle folder, the Lancia, M1, and CSL work just fine, but the others...
however with the fact that I'm an XP user aswell could probably put your mods to good use... I'm crazy enough that I *attempt anyway* run 60+ cars on tracks that allow for it, I've managed to manipulate the ELMS,SCC,Grand Slam, NAGT, ITCC 2014 and Enduroracer's LM mods to all run together on one install, on another install I'm running the classic muscle cars, AMMv3, Pure muscle cars, some"Old School" mod and the CanAm mod on track at once.
the only 2 mods I've not been able to get to agree with me are the WSC'70 and the Klasskicker '75 mods.
I'm still figuring out how to tweak mods myself... I havnt messed with any modding myself since the days when SCGT was NEW...
not having a copy of GTL has unfortantly kept me from messing with the historix mods, so I did have to figure out something else for sounds... but that wasnt too hard.
I know this is off subject but still IMSA relevant... I still have Bandit's GTPs and Burd Phillips' 90s GTO/GTU scgt mods wich seem to have vanished from everyones memories... I'll share if anyone wants, would LOVE to be able to get ahold of them guys and see if permission can be given to convert em, I know the detail of the models isnt up to par with what we have these days... but it fills a hole in the world of Rfactor...

Cool ! You can bypass the disc check easily by opening the archive with 7-zip. I highly recommend doing so. There are a lot of nice cars in there. The TransAms in particular are rather fun although I like the physics of my muscle car mod a bit better ( from SlimJim ). I have the WSC70 mod working pretty well. I can send you a bunch of .gen files if you want them. I have a lot of those old SCGT cars too. I'm not sure about Burd Phillip's cars though.

What I did to get the DRM cars to work in all cars mode is add DRM to the SearchPaths. They have something like :
SearchPath=<VEHDIR> SearchPath=<VEHDIR>FORD_CAPRI_TURBO
in them and make it read :
SearchPath=<VEHDIR>DRM SearchPath=<VEHDIR>DRM/FORD_CAPRI_TURBO
and they all work for me when the "DRM" is added in there.
This is basically all it takes with any mod that overrides the Vehicles directory. The DRM mod's .rfm file has this :
VehiclesDir=GAMEDATA\VEHICLES\DRM
in it so take whatever is after VEHICLES and add it to the SearchPaths after <VEHDIR>. I have done this with every mod I have and they all work. The only other thing I sometimes have to do is comment off backfires because occasionally different mods don't agree with each other on the backfires. I have had to change them for every car in the IMSA_GTX mod to make them play nicely with the DRM cars.

I just had a testing race with the next car pack and they all have at least one little bug in them. The bugs range from bad cockpit textures to steering wheels. It is going to take a little while to sort these out.

I guess I was pessimistic. I fixed all but one of the cars. Hopefully, I will have this pack ready to upload during the weekend. No guarantees though.

Fixed another and there's just one left - a bad material on the front air dam of the 911GTU. What happens is the air intakes appear orange on several cars. It should be a fairly simple thing to fix. Then I need to tweeak several camera viewpoints and a few tachometer settings and it will be ready to go.

It was very simple to fix - I just renamed the material. I need to adjust some camera viewpoints and tachometers and it will be ready. Hopefully that will not take very long.
