That's OK. I'm not taking it personally. I was just hoping someone else had something going on. I am doing an upload of the file right now. It's been going a long time but seems to be working. I know what you mean about the 'all cars' mode. The problem is many mod makers override the vehicles directory in their .rfm file and that causes issues in the 'all cars' mode. I think that is one of the dumbest things ISI did with the game and I see no reason at all why it is necessary. That's OK though. The search paths for this are set up so the files can be placed anywhere and still work fine. They can be in the DRM directory if you want. I was doing that for a while then I decided not to do that because it is harder to pack things when they are there. You get to be the guinea pig for this. I think all that is necessary is to add "IMSA_GTX" to the DRM mod's .rfm file and they should play nicely with each other. I didn't include one so you'll have to make one if you want to race with cars by themselves. You could use the one Donnie made and add IMSA_GTX to the class list. I know very little about how they work because I never use them. By "acting weirdly" what I mean is in 3DsimEd the wheel looks fine. In the game it is down on the console. Actually, it just occurred to me that it is rotating around the origin, (0,0,0). It may be that the pivot point just needs to be set. I'm not sure - just thinking as I write. Anyway, the file has been uploaded and a link is in your PM box. Let me know what I can do to help you race with them.

I managed to convert the 8th car and it is working pretty well. I just need to sort out the physics now. I think I'll use those from the DRM's BMW 320. I tried using the physics from the 320 turbo but they are way too fast for this car. I finally figured out what to do for the brake lights and it worked on the first try with this car. I had tried it with the Pantera and it didn't work - CTDs. I thought I did the same things both times. Oh well.
What it amounts to is I copy the brakelights mesh to the blglo_*d files. Then in the brakelight meshes I delete the material geometry associated with the brakelights and headlights materials and set transparency to none. In the blglo meshes I delete the material geometry associated with the wc_whatever material and headlight. That leaves just the brake light material and then I set the events to 0,1,2.
The Esprit is still giving me fits. I get CTDs when if select it and then choose a different car or run a race and then leave the track. I think I am going to start over and re-convert most parts of the car. I'll start by keeping all of the wheels but re-do everything else. This is the second time I have seen that with a car. The first time I had a weird shadow caster set up and that was the cause. With this car, I use the same one that I did with the others so I don't think that's the problem.

I have added more cars to the paddock. Here are some shots : There are now 14 cars in the set and 4 in the queue. They work great for me but apparently a few other users have problems with them. I am trying to sort these issues out before I post any links. I've been able to get brakelights, backfires, and tachometers to work for all of these cars so far but some steering wheels and seats are giving me problems. The problems are some bad pivot points and a few invisible seats. Twice I've re-done them and but I still have problems. I'll keep trying though. If anyone wants to take a shot at those parts please let me know. Sometimes another pair eyes can see instantly things that someone else has missed for weeks. Here's a list of the cars right now : Division I: Chevrolet Camaro Dekon Monza DeTomaso Pantera Ferrari 512BB/LM Greenwood Corvette Jaguar XJS Mustang Cobra Porsche 934/5 Division II: BMW CSL Turbo Datsun 240Z Ford Escort 2RS Lotus Esprit Opel Kaddett C Porsche 911GTU The four in the queue are all Div. II cars. I'll consider suggestions if you have them along with a link.

I solved my problem with the seats. It turned out to be an issue with .gen files. The original mod had the seat combined in the same instance with some cockpit objects that are not visible in the spinner. That resulted in the seat being invisible while racing. I moved the seat to its own instance and it works correctly.
Now I have several steering wheels to sort out.

I figured out my steering wheel problem and most of them are fixed now. I hope to have a release of Div. I cars ready soon and Div. II a little later.

I plan to keep going on it. I really enjoy racing with these cars. I think the Div. II cars are still a couple of weeks away though. I noticed that several of them have steering wheel problems and there are also a few material problems to sort out. I have another small pack of Div. II cars I want to convert after that so there's a lot of stuff I still want to do. Who knows? We may get lucky and see some more cars from BLT soon. That would be very cool. Especially if they release their other 935s.

I am sorry to read that Alex. Since I've put this mod together I have been racing RF more than ever before. I have a set of 8 cars ready now - the Division I cars. However, after seeing what the DRM mod team guys did I really don't want to piss off the BLT guys. For this reason, I am "releasing" this mod here by PM only. That means if you want a link to the cars, sounds, and patch you HAVE TO SEND ME A PM. If you can't send me a PM then I seriously doubt you can read one so don't bother asking for a PM in a public message. We can discuss the mod here in this thread but I am not going to post links to it publically. Send me a private message if you want the links.

I cannot stop racing these things, I've been running almost non stop since you posted the link. Easily my favorite mod...well tied with the GTPs anyway.
the only problem is I feel impatient now waiting for the rest of the cars for some multiclass action...
keep up the great work!

I am really glad to read that you like this mod. I really enjoy racing with these cars. Especially when I mix them with the DRM and BMW 320 mods. I haven't raced with any other cars for several months. I have decided to revise my plans for release of the Division II cars. I am going to start with a pack for best GTU racing. That means the Porsche 911GTU, BMW CSL Turbo, Datsun 240Z, Mazda RX-7, and a few Monzas (with no wings and less power) will be the first pack of Div. II cars. I am working on the RX-7 now and it is coming along nicely. Those are going to be a really fun set of cars. I can't wait to get the RX-7 going. The second pack of DII is almost done too - just a little bug fixing is needed for them. That will be the Lotus, Escort, and Kadett. The third pack of four has a lot farther to go. That should keep me busy for a few months.
