Phil was able to fix those problems and I have uploaded a new version of XJS to the server. It is at version 1.06 now. My apologies for not checking this more thoroughly.  On a related note - stay tuned. I expect to have two more cars ready to go this week. |

My adult ADD has been flaring lately. I've been racing with other cars. Lately, it's been a combination of DTM and SuperGT cars. Of course, I have to add more skins, adjust some of them, convert more cars for it, etc... That's my OCD taking over there. See, first I get distracted and then I become obssessed. It's a vicious cycle.

I share your problems. I've got 7 installs running pretty much each decade of sports cars, 4 decades of open wheel, offroad trucks and buggies, the Dirtworks dirt oval cars, euro SUPER TRUCKS and even unlimited hydroplane race boats...... pretty much a little bit of everything except Nascar because unlike most of my fellow Americans...I don't enjoy the super speedways very much... nor do I enjoy watching uglier versions of ugly cars that have ZERO in common with its production counterpart aside from stickers to make it resemble the car.... DTMs at least have the general shape of the car they represent.
I can spend DAYS racing and not run the same cars twice

I am pretty much the same way. I liked NASCAR in the late 60s, early 70s when they actually WERE stock cars. After that - not at all. I like lots of different cars but not quite as many as you do. I have F1 of 1973 to 1976 - the big airbox era. Beyond that, it's mostly GTs and prototypes and LOTs of them. The last time I checked I had almost 6000 cars and I still have about three hundred courses I haven't tried out yet in addition to the 500+ courses that are installed. Sometimes it's hard to decide what cars to race with and where. I don't have much interest in the newer games either. They look great for screen shots but there's a lot more to sim racing than taking pretty screen shots I think.

I agree, and I don't want to go spend a few hundred bucks on a machine strong enough to run the new games... this old XP machine does just fine for RF and the other older games I still mess with

 The Renault R5 Turbo has been uploaded to the server. This car comes with 32 skins a variety of wheels, tires, and body kits. I like the version with the splitter and rear wing so I have adjusted a few cars to use those parts. You can see the previous GenStrings commented out in the .veh file if are curious. I have a glitch in the Stratos HF's cockpit that I am trying to fix and I hope to upload it soon. |

I don't know how I havn't noticed the mirrors on the Pantera are also backward... I've taken a stab at fixing it myself but I just seem to get lost in the files.
I've messed with the mirror position in the cockpit files but apparently thats not the right set of numbers...
also the 240Z's mirror is aimed at nothing... but not having a mirror seems to cause me less headache than having one backwards cause I've been racing the Z alot and hadnt really noticed it too much...

I believe I have fixed the problems with the mirrors that you noted. I tried to flip the mirror of the Z and that seemed fix it. I will be uploading little patch files for the Pantera and the 240Z momentarily. You should be able to extract these files and then see correct mirrors.

 I have uploaded the Lancia Stratos HF. There are 41 skins, 8 body styles, and 9 wheel styles with this car. I have been unable to solve the problem I had with the cockpit. I hope someone can help me sort it out. It's very confusing. I have two tachometer images in the car's directory and neither of them show up when I drive the car. I just don't get it. Anyway, I hope you have fun with it. |

fantastic that you managed to include every skin (I think?)! I think I have to sort them in their separete rally mod now!
