I'll admit I've been secretly hoping someone would convert a couple of those Vettes (along with the 92 300ZXGTS car and Celica GTU) over to RF for use with the 90's GTP cars that I keep stumbling on more and more of...

first shot of the Pantera I've been working on....  It still has a long way to go, but with as puzzle peiced together as its template is... I'm surprised the Original skin looks as good as it does. |

Very nice. I'm not crazy about the number font but I like everything else.  I see what you meant about the green grill on the XJS. I'll see if I can fix that. |

I found the problem with the grill. I will make it an "extra" texture so it will be paintable. I will also make the windows paintable. I am going to make the correct grills myself and I'll upload a new version of the car in a little while.

I uploaded a patch for the Jaguar XJS as described above. Please let me know how it works for you and if it's OK I'll upload a new version of the car.

and I agree with the number font not fitting the car, truthfully I hate the whole number panel... location and all... so I'm changing that.

I have the Celica GTO converted already and running in the PTC mod. Same for the Corvette C4 in both IMSA and LM (1995 #30) configurations in PTC mod aswell. Even the Mustang Cobra and the Audi 90 from pCARS are ingame aswell as I converted them a while back, but I never finished them because I saw Boern working on the same cars, but I'm still hoping he releases them instead of endless teasing over at SlimJim's forum (Alongside his Moby Dick from AC and BMW 320 from pCARS). My PTC folder goes up to the late '90s so it's not an issue for me, but for others those cars may be out of place. If there's enough interest, I'll dust them off and add them to my pack of Ferraris. I have a lot of hidden gems that I may share from time to time, just flooded with projects at the same time..
However there is no 300ZX available, if you refer to the NoGrip car, is just a C4 with a skin. Same for the LM 199-something Mazda RX7, yet just another skin for the C4.

I was mistaken... the 300ZX I think is the RFactor2 WSGT2 car that I google likes to throw in my face every time I run a random search for RFactor mods. I've seen the fleet of cars skinned to look like other cars and they frankly don't interest me at all... but since you brought up RX7... this one isnt a mock skin...  I've got it as one of the few GT cars I've found to stick in with the late 80s-90s GTPs I've been running. I've also got a couple big winged Fox Body mustangs from the DTM93, the BPR cars and a couple of the Aero War nascars as they are really close to the GTX cars buick ran for a short time.... |

Yes, that's the 300ZX I was thinking of. I wish they would release that thing. You have the makings for an interesting grid of IMSA GT cars there CZ. That could be really fun. I was looking at the photo of that XJS and it should have blue disc wheels for the #48 car and, theoretically, red discs for the #46 for the appropriate contrast. That means the gen strings should be different than what I listed previously. To have these wheels they should be: car 46 : GenString=421 car 48 : GenString=721 I'll update them in the new version I am going to upload shortly. |

The only one I managed to find was this, the 1985 Roush car which competed in both IMSA and Daytona 24h. The IMSA GT cars of that era were interesting.
I have uploaded a new version of the XJS - it is now 1.04. This includes the new wheels and the two new Wardair skins by zychotic1. The skins were smoothed and written as DXT5 files by philrob.

I guess no one has tried the XJS yet. Apparently I had a brain fart and uploaded the archive of the car without testing it. I tried it a little while ago and found that I had omitted the chassis meshes from the .mas file. I added them in and uploaded and new version of the car - v1.05. I tested it this time.  |

I'd been running them and hadn't encountered any issues, other than I noticed that the splitter on the nose of the red car is now blue...
also with the re-touched skins the stripes on the right side quarterpanel dissappear into a deadzone on the texture map...somehow something got missaligned
