[RELASE] VLM GTPC Addons

hello everybody,

I'm Alessandro, 35 yo from Italy. I mostly play rFactor and GTR2 and my fav cars are group C and group 5 cars. I'm not new to the forum, I joined 1 year ago but forgot the username, so I had to re-register d'oh
During the last two years playing rFactor I have collected various addons for the marvelous VLM GTP mod and I decided to merge them (slowly) in a single mod.

I don't own and I didn't create any of the models included. I give credit to their creators and I'm sorry if I forgot to mention someone. I did the whole thing to have fun and to give others the same opportunity.
The mod is somewhat unfinished bacause I'm not an experienced modder or skinner, but I tried to do my best, feel free to take the issues and fix them, provided you please post here the solutions! Last but not least, if you want to add other cars or skins you have the permission to share you're welcome, I hope that here will be a place to gather good addons for the VLM GTPC mod!

- the Virtua LM GTPC Physics Update v2_0 by Skywilk

- these cars:

- Porsche 962 Longtail from Group C Legends by Zack with new phisics based on the upgrade by Skywilk and 3 types of engine from 2.6 L. to 3.0 L.

- some extra skins for the Porsche 962, adapted from AC skins (Rob Bonkers, Casporro, Moustiqo and Patrik Sander)

- new wheels for the porsche 962 that now uses those of the 956 by VLM

- NIL's Mazda 787B from his 787B mod 1.1 (it comes as an addon for VLM GTPC with the LM skins only and also as a standalone mod with all the optional skins provided by NIL)

- Sauber C9 by Geroda74
(not skinned perfectly, i tried but something I can't figure out stopped me to investigate further)
- a RFE upgrade for ALL the cars in the VLM GTPC mod made by me
using the guidelines provided by RFE plugin team

That so-called "physics update" really pissed me off. RF is a simulator and that update was very unrealistic. The guy who made the original physics for VLM is a friend of mine and he talked to two guys who drove the real cars and made the physics to be very realistic. The fact is they DID have a ton of understeer. That's why they put the little front wings on some of the cars which ended up messing with the aerodynamics and reducing rear downforce.

Anyway, end of rant. I don't have any of those files. Sorry.
