I am working on the Mazda RX-3 now. It has the usual problems - brakelights and cockpit stuff.
There is going to be a rather large Division II field. There are so many cars now that I usually race with the two divisions separately.

I've been too busy racing to pop in and say anything... but dude.... i'm lovin it I've been running 60 car fields of DRM Div1 Div2 and So76 and having a ball! 150laps of Indianapolis(road course) managed to run the Datsun all the way up to 5th (AI at max) and to celebrate had to make myself a skin.... wich I will make availible once its finished  still tweaking on it |

I have uploaded the Mazda RX-3. It has its own sounds and 42 skins. I finally gave up on the camera eyepoint. If you want to drive the car it will take a little time to position that. I haven't figured out how to do it quickly so I have to do it by trial and error and it is a PITA. I did get the tachometer and brake lights working though. Here are a couple of shots of it racing :   Pay no attention to the TCL cars in there. I was just messing around and added those in. |

AWESOME! as always! gonna take a shot in the dark and guess that celica may be next?  I havnt uploaded my skin yet, I was thinking about holding off till we get that 510/skyline and do a teamcar semi-replicating a buddies 510 and just releasing a 2 pack... any if anyone wants a custom skin... say somethin, I been bored lately... |

Hey, thanks a lot! I was thinking about wrapping up the Escort next actually and then the Celica.
I am not sure about the 510. I have it working in the game but performance is REALLY bad when I race with it. In the past that has been caused by two meshes overlapping too closely together or excessive polygon counts. I haven't figure out what the issue is with it yet.
There are three other Nissans I am looking at - the Skyline 2000 GT-R, Skyline Fatboy, and KGC110. The first one is working pretty well and needs a little tweaking. The Fatboy was done by another guy and needs some optimization. I haven't started on the KGC110 yet.
There are still more cars to come after those. I am basically interested in just about any car from the 70s to early 80s that has a splitter and spoiler or wing so that it looks sort of like a Group 5 car. I also like nearly anything that the Brickyard Legends Team does. I can't wait for their 935 pack. That's going to be a lot of fun!

As for custom skins - how about some 935s? Tons of them raced so there should be no shortage of possibilities. I can suggest a few if you want. Also, some more Jaguar XJSs would be nice. There were some in ETCC and TransAm and they will look OK with a spoiler and splitter. Here are some. I don't think there was a template for the car though so you will probably have to improvise. |

I agree we need more Jags in the field and am already working on a couple based on the Silk Cut paint schemes, was debating basing a pair of the Castrol GTP scheme too...
having no template does not effect me... templates didnt exist on the games that I started modding when I started... and where MUCH more confusing to figure out lol

Great! I am very glad to read that. The Silk Cut and Castrol liveries from the later XJR-8 and 9 look very cool. The Silk Cut livery was used in both white and purple. I hope you can do both.  The #4 Jag is actually fictional. There was a 444 car but I hate three digit numbers so I made it 4 because I thought we need at least two of them. The dark green livery from 1984 is pretty nice too. I like the #48 car from 1987 also. I can probably make the blue wheels if you can paint them. |

both is what I meant by the plural useage of scheme as for the #48,as well as any other specific cars, link me with some pics and I'll do what I can. and as far as painting wheels... I just need to know what art files to look for.... |
