I'm looking for GTO Camaros. Have you converted those as well? I'd really like them for Bathurst purposes. BLT's M1 Group 5 would be cool too.

... BLT completely forgot about their huge 935 pack and it's a shame because I desperately need those K3s and K4s more than anything else they have wip. They haven't forgot about them. They are still in progress. I watch them on their facebook page and they have been posting a lot of screenshots of the 935s into their photo album. They also have the 77A variant in progress and there were lots of those raced. I am very eagerly awaiting those 935s too. We will have attained GTX/Group 5 nirvana when those are available. They also have a page at racing.fr that they update more frequently. The Capri looks very good too!

(Yes, I made it btw) Because they only released this: www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=40120For the BMW, I did all 3 of them. M1 Turbo (Group 5), March M1 (Group 5) and M1 Procar (Group 4). M1 Turbo was a bit of a mess because I had to sort it out with the DRM M1 so that both could co-exist togheter. March M1 was a piece of cake. M1 Procar on the other hand was a huge mess because the original BLT model had a lot of skins already painted on the VLM model. So after sorting that out, I converted only the unique skins and added a huge skinpack which perfectly replicates the whole Procar championship for both 1979 and 1980. There's a total of 109 skins just for those Procar cars. Then another 10 or so of misc DRM and IMSA cars and I still have to add another M1 Procar model which has even more DRM skins for 1981 (10 or so), but which is sadly not based on neither VLM or BLT. I will slowly upload everything. Those M1s are gorgeous, but sadly not balanced at the moment because the DRM physics are stupid and unrealistic and are at least 2x times faster than BLT physics. There is no way in hell a BMW 320 Turbo can match and top a Porsche 956 Group C1 at Le Mans. I refuse to believe that. Also, what is their Facebook page? Can't seem to find it.

Hmm. I can't find it either. I'm not sure how I am seeing those. It must be through a friend of a friend or something like that.

I did the March M1 and that's it. I didn't see enough unique skins to do the other M1 variants. That's pretty much what I think about the Capri too. I'm chomping at the bit for those 935s now. Maybe we should collaborate or split up the load when those arrive.

Maybe share the album link if you can? I've been asking around and nobody seems to have a clue where to to follow these progress.
Anyway, I'm mainly interested in the K2s and K3s. I'll probably do all of them, but those 2 models will have my absolute priority.

I did some digging and 956s were about 10 seconds faster at Silverstone than a BMW 320 Turbo in qualifying. Admittedly, that is likely with higher boost than they used in the race but it is significant. At Laguna Seca a 962 was about eight seconds faster in qualifying with the single turbo engine. I can only imagine the difference at Le Mans. The BMW 320 turbo should not be able to keep up with a 956.

Yes, that is a good idea. It would probably work very well with the two most recent cars especially. In my opinion, the cockpits are one of the best things the DRM team did. I also like grip of their tires. Unfortunately, they weren't always accurate in their modelling. For example, the Lancia Beta Monte Carlo had an inline, four cylinder turbocharged engine. I have never seen a picture of it with twin exhaust pipes because four cylinder engines don't use them very often. It had another smaller pipe for the waste gate but it is distinctly different than an exhaust pipe. You can find lots of photos of this. I also dislike the proportions of the their 935. It seems too tall and narrow. I like the shape of BLT's 935 much better. That's just my opinion though.

the accuracy and attention to detail of BLT's mods are astonishing really. The DRM Revival guys never made it a secret that their mod was an "LE" edition

Nah, merge the cockpits of one mod with the models of another is not worth it. Because if you do, you have to cut and paste every chassis style from the "old" model to the new cockpit of the "new" model and on cars such as the 935s (Whenever they'll be released) it will be a pain in the ass with all those variations. It's not hard. It's just boring.

I think if the cockpit_chassis mesh can be used separately from the cockpit itself this should be possible on some cars but probably not all.

No, because each 3D model still has its own xyz coordinates and especially dimensions. Changing the cockpit from the GTL 935 with the DRM 935 was easy because it was the exact same model. But when I did the cockpit for the 512 BBs, I had to cut and paste half the car.
