Yup, not bad fields! I noticed that an AMC Javelin was racing in IMSA and TransAm as late as 1979, so I added it to my setup from the Historix mod.

Yes, I saw those. That plus the fact that I can't find any historic liveries for the 944 are why I am not going to release it. You can always add it in yourself if you want to since it was already converted. They also have a 280ZX coming that looks pretty good. I am working on the Stratos HF right now. There are lots of parts and stuff so it will take a while.

had far too busy of a weekend to get anything done with the skins, having trouble tracking the right logos down again. starting the hunt as we speak, I've got a few hours to work on it now, maybe I can have the Wardair cars up tonight.

Excellent! I'm hoping for the best. Here's a shot from my first successful race with the Lancia Stratos HF. Obviously, it has some problems but I should be able to fix them.

Very nice! I'll make the wheels and they'll just need textures.
More good news - I fixed the problems with the Stratos and converted all seven chassis types I was going to do. All I have left is to sort out some cockpit gauges and it will be ready.

I have made the wheels and uploaded them to the download page. I also added in the other two styles of wheels that came with the original car. This means there are flat discs, five spoked (that came with the car for RF), and eight spoked wheels. Those are styles 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
I added styles 4 through 9. The original wheels were all green so we can add red and blue versions of them. Styles 4 and 7 are alternates of style 1 and are the disc wheels. Styles 5 and 8 are alternates of style 2 and are the five spoked wheels. Styles 6 and 9 are alternates of style 3 and are the eight spoke wheels. A matrix might help you see this easier.
1: disc green 4: disc red 7: disc blue 2: 5 spoke green 5: 5 spoke red 8: 5 spoke blue 3: 8 spoke green 6: 8 spoke red 9: 8 spoke blue
There is also a new .gen file to use with these since they are in a .mas file. What you should do is decide which type of wheels you want the new car to use. Extract the three texture files for those wheels and paint them the correct color. If you don't know how to do the blurring I can do that for you. You just use the radial blur filter so it's pretty easy. If you don't know how to use the MAS utility let me know and I'll re-upload the files unpacked.
Once you have the car ready and the wheels painted you can try them in the game by changing the GenString of the car. It is currently something like 2XX and the 2 signifies wheel style 2, the green 5 spoke wheels. Change the 2 to the number for the new wheels and you should be ready to go.

I have good news and bad news. The good news is I have 8 chassis styles working in the game now and 41 skins. The bad news is I haven't sorted out the cockpits yet. There are three different types with different gauges. It's going slowly but I'm getting there.

Phil did one car, the 1989 #70, and there was only 1 other livery which is missing, the 1990 #85, but I dunno if he's gonna do it or not. www.racingsportscars.com/type/photo/Porsche/944.html?cat=4I'm waiting for the last 308 Ferrari and I'll release my small contribution to this project (Which includes a slightly reworked 512BB Silhouette aswell).

Today I upload v1.02 archives for three cars. The only thing changed with these cars was the .sfx file. If you have those cars you can get the sfx file updates only if you want. The three cars were Jaguar XJS, Lancia Turbo Stratos, and Ferrari 512BB/LM.

I got caught away from the house for a couple days and havn't got much done on the skins. when I got home I felt like doing some racing and loaded up some Shift 2 conversions I downloaded and didn't know I did... anyway long story short.. I found these in there... I've got them working as division 2 cars altho they are currently significantly off pace of even the other VWs we have... might work on that after I finish up some skins

Those sure look like Group 5 cars. Here's another car in progress and it's almost ready. I just need to sort out the cockpit on it too. It's the Opel Manta B400. There are twelve skins for it, one chassis style, and three wheel styles.
