Glenn Bunch's E-type from 1974: currently just one skin, and set up to be in the GTPC mod, but the GEN-files and such are easily modified to fit in whereever they are desired. New physics too, it is quite slow compared to other GTO cars, but can race GTU cars quite good. Fun to drive too. www.mediafire.com/download/g2l9q8cbuhnx68g/Jaguar_Etype.rar

I'm finally able to get back and say Hi again.
the night of my last post I got hit with a lightning storm that fried everything... getting everything installed now and unfortunatly have to start from square 1 with everything... but I WILL make good on the skins I promised.

Wow! That's really bad news. Best of luck getting things back in order. I'm really looking forward to seeing those skins. I've been on vacation for the last few weeks so no progress from me.

The car list keeps getting bigger. I found two new cars to add to this mod so work has begun on those. I don't have them working in RF now so no pictures yet. I'll keep their identities a surprise for now. Two other cars that will come are the Triumph TR-8 and Mustang Turbo GTX. I'll add those when the Absolute Le Mans team have finished them. We'll be at thirty cars for the mod before too long.

Here's a shot of one of the next cars. It's the March BMW M1 from BLT. It's almost ready.

Here's the second of the new cars : the Porsche 935/78-81. There are skins for the original factory car (Martini) and the Joest clones of it plus some fictional ones. There are templates available so more can be painted. I hope to see more skins for it. This car was initially converted to rfactor by boern69 and I am enhancing it and adapting it to work with these cars. A cockpit is a challenge for this car right now. It may have to be AI-only to for the initial release.

Spectacular! Will be a nice addition to GTPC too, since it was used into 1983.

I have added a driver and brake lights to the car but I can't get the backfire to work right. It is very frustrating. At least it's looking pretty good.

I have uploaded a preliminary version of the 935-78 - it's v0.7 for now. It does not have a cockpit and the backfires don't work but I am looking into both of these things. Because of the cockpit, the car is for AI use only right now. You can find a template here if you would like to paint some skins and there are several real liveries that have not been painted yet for this car. The March BMW M1 is almost ready. I have to sort out the cockpit gauges and viewpoint and that's all so it should come very soon.

This is weird, I can't get it to show up in-game. I do have my own setup with the gen-files and so on, but everything looks right.
Thanks for your work nontheless!

The cars have "AI ONLY" in their class line so they won't be visible in the spinner or selectable to drive. They should appear in a quick race though. If not, check your trace file to see why it is being omitted.

Hello. Thanks to Marvin for the cars. Though I might aswell join the party. The 512BBLM Silhouette had a problem with reversed mirrors (All your cars have them flipped to be honest, but not a big deal) so I went and corrected that. While I was at it, I added the lightflares aswell. But I still wasn't satisfied, so I added a new car. The older sister of the Silhouette, the 1978 512BBLM. I have some more Ferrari models to add (Bellancauto 512BBLM, 308 Gr4, 308 Carma and 512BBi). Once everything is done, I'll release them here. That's what I'm working on at the moment. The model is bad. I mean, good-only-for-the-trash-can bad. But I'll try to make it look pretty. Just for a comparison, the Porsche is VLM, Silhouette is mine, the RX7 is Marvin.

Damn nice. Glad to see you join the party, chaoszero. Brickyard has a lot of new previews on their site, Datsun 280's, Porsche 924 and a few others interesting things: brickyard-legends-team.com/search.php
