still working... having issues with a few cars. the daytona is just a mess cockpit wise, we should do a whole new cockpit honestly. its no where as good as the other cars. and the 69 GTO gauges are obscured by the dash itself. not sure what to do about that one.

The Daytona and Torino came from the AMM mod for rfactor. Don't its gauges work already ?
Not sure about the 69 GTO either. Unfortunately, my gaming box is down right now so I can't check it out.

Sorry, this mod is about American muscle cars. I have nothing against the Monaro or Falcon. I just want to stay with American cars for this mod.
If I recall correctly, LegendsAtLunch released a Falcon for RF at F1C. He had the Mad Max Interceptor with it too. It's pretty cool. At least, I think that is a Falcon.

Hello. Is this mod still being worked on? I downloaded it and am not seeing the gauges in the GTO like the screenshot above.
While I'm not a graphics guru, my specialty would be researching, testing and implementing realistic options (ie, correct engine torque curves gathered from dyno tests, realistic weights and weight distribution, correct transmission and rear end ratios for stock cars with options to add after market items, etc).
If you need help with physics and options, I can give a hand. My system is old and slow so testing for older machines is something I can do.

Hello ZiggyM. No, this mod is not being actively worked on. If you feel like tweaking it feel free to. Please post any changes you make so others can enjoy what your work.
The cockpit gauges issue is likely due to the cockpitinfo.ini file for the car. It is the one the game uses to decide which textures to display. I seem to remember that it worked the last time I tried it but that has been quite a while ago.

Nice work Smallblockhero---in my day these were the real deal..Had a friend with a 450hp 1968 or 9 GTO with 4.11 gears ---120mph top speed but getting there was like riding a booster rocket.
edit; I'm late to the party it seems---lol----posted before the endof the thread.

I don't know of anyone who is stillworking on these cars. My interests these days are in the GTX cars.
If you want to work on these cars then have it. If you have general purpose modelling skills then two things that would help are remapping the skin texture for the SuperBee since they are so screwy, and adjusting the normals on a few of the street cars like the GTX because the reflections are messed up on some of them.
Beyond that, if you are good at painting then you could probably find a car or two that could use more skins.
Please feel free to do what ever you are interested in doing with these cars. To be honest, I haven't raced with them in probably two years.
